    The number 10 was to do with Bergkamp, Wenger said he didn't want to give the number 10 shirt to another striker but then he gave it to RVP anyway Neutral

    Apparently it was a translation issue, something to do with the literal translation of a French word into a particular English word (expect) having a slightly different meaning in French.

    I don't buy it, he has lived in England for many years now and I've never heard a translation mistake from him, not that I can remember anyway.
