If he's still not performing and Romelu is, I reckon he would. His pride isn't going to dictate him so much that he hurts his own business because of it, he's no fool.

Torres has looked sharper, fresher and better with his movement the longer pre-season has gone on and seems to be willing to constantly put in the work rate for once too. I think he will have a much better season.

As for Lukaku it could prove to be a really good signing. This season it will be about settling in as Anelka has just this season left and will leave on a free at the end, Drogba has only 1-2 seasons left at the club whilst Kalou has to be sold due to his shitness leaving Sturridge, Lukaku and Torres.
