EURO 2012 organisers are using Ibrox as a blueprint for security and safety at this summer's highly anticipated tournament.
Senior figures and police officers from Ukraine were special guests at Saturday's clash with Hibs when they were able to witness first-hand the slick matchday operation at the stadium.
They were invited across by Rangers security and safety officer Robin Howe, who has a key role at this summer's Championships, co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland, in his role as a consultant.
Howe has been working with the Ukrainian organisers for the past eight months and will be highly involved when the competition gets underway in June.
He said: "I am working over in Ukraine for Euro 2012 and there will be four stadia used over there - Kiev, Lviv, Donetsk and Kharkiv.
"We had senior police officers from Lviv and Kiev with us at Ibrox on Saturday as well as the stadium operators for the new stadium at Kiev, which has a capacity of 60,000, and the Lviv stadium, which is slightly smaller at 30,000.
"In total there were nine representatives from Ukraine who will be actively involved at Euro 2012 who wanted to see how we operate on a matchday.
"It was important that they saw the Control Room and Rangers' match operation has always been well regarded so they wanted to learn from that as they prepare for the European Championships.
"It showed them how we work closely with the police and it also allowed them to witness our stewarding operation and they have taken the good practices that they have seen with them back to use at Euro 2012.
"I have been appointed by UEFA as a security officer as a consultant to the local organising committee in Kiev and I have been working there for the past eight months.
"I will work right through with them until the end of the tournament.
"They have done a lot of good work so far and hopefully we will have a fantastic tournament."
