Then why has the transfer been a problem? Much more than £40m? Don't talk daft Polska, what's their record signing? Fact is, Corinthians pulled out, because they didn't have that type of money to be spending on 1 player. I'm led to believe, there was a problem with how the money was being paid. Apparently Corinthians wanted to pay it in instalments etc... while City wanted £40m straight up, in cash. They don't have that type of money and so forth, the deals off. Why else would it be off?

Bollocks. They did have enough time, MORE than enough time. A deal was agreed Monday Morning. City then said cough up, and Corinthians then backtracked and wanted to start fiddling about with the deal and how it was being paid. And Tevez was in South America, so it wouldn't of took that long for him to get on a plane to Brazil from Argentina and negotiate personal terms and what not.

If Corinthians had the money, they'd of made a deal, simple. They had plenty of time.
