October was topsy-turvy month, though it was more negative than positive. A large victory over Wolves, victory in Europe over Young Boys, and a draw with Man Utd were overshadowed by dissapointing losses to Fulham and Arsenal. Good news was the eventual emergence of Andy Carroll, who scored four times in five games and claimed the Young Player of the Month Award in the Premier League.

I know, Carroll's usually pish for me.

Suarez is pish on my save. 4 goals in 16 games, and 3 of those came in one game.

November was not a great month for Liverpool, as they went four games without winning in the league at the beginnning of the month. A shocking loss to Blackpool at Anfield was followed by a disappointing 0-0 against West Ham. Liverpool managed a share of the spoils at home to surprise table toppers Blackburn, but the visitors were down to ten men for the majority of the match. Poor finishing and lack of fitness became a theme as they were beaten by Sunderland. The month ended on a high though, with victory in the first Merseyside derby of the season and a draw at Stamford Bridge against third-placed Chelsea. Liverpool continued to be strong in Europe though, beating Young Boys 3-1 for the second time in a row. The FA Cup 3rd Round Draw pitted Liverpool away to their bitter rivals Everton.

December was a month of revival for Liverpool. The Reds were unbeaten in all competitions, winning three of their five league games. The month began with an entertaining draw to Spurs, followed by narrow wins over Birmingham and West Brom. Liverpool earned a point against fourth-place Manchester City in Manchester, and edged out Stoke at the Britannia, winning 3-2 despite giving up a 2-0 lead. This fine form moved Liverpool up to seventh, with manager Abraar coming third in the Manager of the Month award. Liverpool remained unbeaten in Europe, beating RB Salzburg and drawing with Besikstas to finish top of the group with 14 points from the six games. They will play PSV in the first knockout round of the Euro Cup, with the prize being a second round game against RB Salzburg.

Hows Carroll doing? If hes doing good, how do you use him?

Check the OP for squad stats. He's really hit-and-miss. He'll go on runs where he's scoring, but then hel have a goal drought. I use him as a Target man and Attack.

Liverpool continued their revival into the new year. The Reds won three out of four Premier League games and have only suffered one loss in their last eleven league games. They opened the new year with a surpising loss to Bolton at home, losing 3-1 after taking the lead. They then cooly brushed aside bottom club Newcastle with an impressive performance. Heartbreak was to follow, however, as they were knocked out of the FA Cup in the 3rd Round by Everton. It was their second early cup exit of the season. Liverpool finished the month on a high though, beating Wigan and Fulham, though maybe not as comprehensive as expected. This excellent run of five wins from six shot Liverpool to the top of the form table and sixth in the league. Martin Kelly put in some solid performances to come third in the Young Player of the Month Award, while manager Abraar came third in Manager of the Month for the second consecutive time. Liverpool were not busy in the transfer market, thanks to many players recovering from injury, but sold Joe Cole to Manchester City for £4.9M.
