Ofcourse neither of these would be first choice but for instance Jack Wilshere or Frank Lampard were both out injured.

Everyone just seems to pin their hopes on him, he can have a bad game and get away with it.
Before this goes on thoughHuddlestone-WilshereWould be the ideal midfield. But I think Huddlestone would probably be more important to the play than Gerrard.
