Great shout, totally forgot about Silva. But it's still debatable though, Silva is not very ruthless with his finishing like Kaka though.

Silva is one of the best attcking midfielders in the Prem and in the world.

Kaka's best attribute was his explosive pace. His knee is fucked now and the last thing that would improve his career is playing in a physical place like the EPL.

Pace? What pace? Kaka has never been known for his pace. His best attributes have always been his vision, balance, intelligence, and overall ball skills. Not pace.

Acceleration then, but yes he has.

Kaka had amazing pace but that's not what defined him. He only used his pace sparingly, you rarely see Kaka on a full sprint with the ball unless it was like a counter or he was 1v1 but he didnt rely on pace like you all are making it out to be.

Not his pace though but his acceleration is what made him so good. Like a lot of top footballers really...

If he moved to Chelsea pace won't hinder him from being the best in the PL? Pace or no Pace he'd still do a beast job for Chelsea look at what he done for Brazil in past two years...Kaka is still one of the best midfielders in the world..

I think he is past it and so inury prone he's not worth the wages. Chelsea should buy somebody young like Aguero.

I think Kaka could do a job for Chelsea, and he fills a need (creative midfielder) Chelsea will probably play with one striker next year, so a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 with Kaka in the hole could definitely work. Is he past his best? Yes. Does that mean he's shit? No.

Main issue is he will demand wages/transfer fee that is not equal to what he's done the past two or three seasons, that's where the criticism will come in.

He's not past it...if past it means he's not Ronaldo/Messi status anymore then..OK but he's stilll better than MANY midfielders in the world. The ones that are better are playing for Barcelona..and Real Madrid..or are at a better club then Chelsea.

That's exactly what I mean, past his best. His best was round the mid 2000s (specifically 2006-07), I highly doubt he can replicate that form again, but he can still be a great player.

That goal is a bad example, while brilliant, there is no really technical or even physical err... awesomeness shown here. He's pressuring the backline hard, and they fucked up.

Leaving Messi isn't hard because Messi isn't the fastest either. With
the ball at his feet he is lightning, but in terms of raw speed, Kaka
has never possessed Cristiano Ronaldo-like blaze. Kaka has always been
quick and agile and that is still there.

If that is the aforementioned speed that The-Reporter is talking about when he said he ran by Messi, then my dead Grandmother could run by Messi as slow as he was moving.

To answer the question, yes I think he can still do that. Ricardo is still world class in my opinion.
