I hate these kind of debates. There IS no 'top 5'. Every player is different, and has different qualities. Messi and Ronaldo are clearly two of the best players in the world right now, but excluding them, it's very debatable between a very large number of players.
The only way we'd be able to tell is if some organisation got them all together at some kind of camp, and had them all do some tests and competitions and publish the results. But even then, there's the complication of bad form, or an 'off' day affecting some of the players.
I honestly think there is no point in trying to come up with a top 5 or a top 10, because there simply isn't a correct list. Fair enough, list your personal top 10, but to argue with each other is pointless, because everyone has their own opinion and no-one is right.
