Is Cavani among the top 5 strikers in the world?

It is clear that with 27 goals this season Cavani is at the very least hanging on the edge of the top five strikers in the world, so what do you guys think of this beast?

As we can see from this video he is a very clinical striker a fine poacher a lot of his work consists of using his head.
It is clear he can perform on the big stages from a performance like this
So lets admire Edinson Cavani

Assuming that Messi and Ronaldo aren't strikers - definite yes.

No it doesn't....he's not proven himself on the big stage at all.

Juventus have been shit this season...and if you're going to say he's top 5 in the world based on just that game....then I could list a handful of strikers every week who do the same thing. He can score headers...I'm not saying that's a bad thing but 3 headers doesn't prove anything......any player with aerial presence who gets a cross put right into their path could do that.

The difference is how regularly and Cavani is scoring a lot....but it's one season, in Serie A and doesn't prove he can perform on the big stage.
