HOWEVER, he is nothing in comparison to Roberto Carlos or other greats of the game.

I didn't make this for trouble but just for simple clarification. I don't give a fuck if English people are biased or whatever just saying that Cole is really the best...what about when other players play in that position...is he still the best? just simple question.

Carlos is still awesome, if he played for a bigger team atm he'd still be considered as one of the best LBs atm.

True, he is still amazing in Brazil, and Brazilian league is top top quality. (So it's not like he is playing in weaker league)

Roberto Carlos on FM is still one of the best LB's in the game.

Cole is probably the best but compared to the let backs of the decade (well last decade now) he isn't that great.

Marcelo has been brilliant this year, didnt do well in the Clasico (who did) but his defensive mistakes have been cut in half and his attacking play is great as usual, he's been the most attacking left back I've seen all year.

- Well, Marcelo has developed into a fantastic player (as backed up by RM fans Dena, Egzon) so here is no way in saying I am biased. Also Marcelo has all the attributes to be better than Cole but he still hasn't had a better career.

I mean it's like this example...Thiago Silva is a better player than Juan, but Juan has a better career.

Cole is a fantastic all round LB.

That's as much justification you've given me for Marcelo. So that will do.

Tbf to the foreign people, everytime i've watched Marcelo this season (except Barcelona like someone said) he's been quality, and imo has stood out alot more than Cole has. But that's this season only.

Cole is better overall.

Marcelo has been better this season that Cole Luke.
