Tbh, none of us (arguing for the Prem) bought up history. I think it was Dena who mentioned since it's inception...
And at the start. Look at the some of the teams up there. United (obviously), Leeds, Norwich....

I think if Barcelona done Madrid home and away, they'd win the league and the same the other way round.
I'd agree with that, and as a La Liga fan for over a decade, I hope the new rumored TV deal gives the other teams that extra bit of cash to compete, because as it's been shown in the past La Liga teams don't need massive amounts of money to compete with Madrid and Barcelona.
Malaga have a sheikh now.
Not all sheiks are created equal.
They're after Baptista, M.Diarra, that LB of Gijon and Alexis Sánchez.

I mentioned the history thing to offer some perspective, then backed out because it didn't even matter, because I said, the same patters shown then are shown now. If you want to keep arguing about history that's fine.

Makes the league boring and predictable, especially after 09/10.
But thats not the point, that iPepe is denying that La Liga isn't a 2 team league at the moment, and he's going on about a bunch of random shit like how Real and Barca are the best teams in the world. Really confusing trying to argue with that guy, he just goes way off topic and turns the debate into a different topic.
How am I changing the debate? You guys tend to go on about now, then the history, you lost the history argument then go on about now again.
You brought up the whole 'history' thing. Now i'm confused as hell and dunno what the fuck your talking about because i don't know La Liga's histroy, i was talking about La Liga in 09/10 and this season.
09/10 = history.
Yes i know, thats what i was talking about, you started going way beyond that.
La Liga 09/10 = dominated by Real Madrid and Barca (2 team league).

Not bad tbh.
Looked terrible vs. Atletico, 3 set pieces, 3 headers, 3 goals.

Yep. Norwich and Leeds challenging for the title in the early 90s show the same pattern throughout the history of the Premier League...dena wrote:I mentioned the history thing to offer some perspective, then backed out because it didn't even matter, because I said, the same patters shown then are shown now. No you tit. The same patters of teams dominating the trophy cabinet, someone had mentioned the winners of the PL and La Liga, I used history to show that since 92, the PL has had 4 winners, La Liga 5.

The trophy cabinet follows the same pattern pretty much yeah. Teams who have challenged for the title don't...dena wrote:Danny B wrote:Danny B wrote:Tbh, none of us (arguing for the Prem) bought up history. I think it was Dena who mentioned since it's inception...

I don't know who the winner is but somebody's chewed up mangled cock currently resides in their own anus, so I know who the loser is.

I never mentioned the teams though, just the winners, because that was the current topic, I could look at all the challengers, Villarreal, Real Socidead, etc. I remember once comparing the 2nd place finishers for both leagues and seeing Spain had more, but I'm not going to do that again, took me like 5 minutes of research.

What's kind of argument is this Danny? Villarreal, Sociedad, Athletic, Sevilla came close but didn't win it.

I thin this is a case of argue for your league without knowing enough about the other league..
Both leagues are class, but Barcelona and Madrid is far better quality and one will win the Champions League, but I find the Premier League more exciting.

Oh yeah since we're at it, not saying that those people are currently on this thread. Some people always tend to talk shit about La Liga and Spaniards and such yet I see them have La Liga players and Spaniards in their sig all the time, when have you seen a Spaniard with an English-man in his sig?
Sorry I just felt like saying that our of boredness.
