Jose Mourinho's Home Record. Empty Jose Mourinho's Home Record.

Post by Guest Mon Dec 20, 2010 2:26 pm

I'm sure that most of you already know that it has been 8 years and still counting (fucking hell) since Mourinho lost a home game.

    38 Games (Win 36 – Draw 2) with Porto.
    60 Games (Win 46 – Draw 14) with Chelsea.
    38 Games (Win 29 – D9) with Inter Milan.

And whatever his record is with Real Madrid at the moment.

Are there any managers with a better record than that currently?

When do you think he'll finally lose a home game?

He'll probably lose to Barcelona later on this season. But nevertheless, what an amazing record.

He was so close to losing the record v Milan if not for Pedro Leon's last minute goal though.

A result in penalty kicks is a draw, regardless of whether or not you win or lose the penalties.

The reason penalties are played is because there is a draw after 120 minutes of play.

I think that is a draw, not a loss.

Yeah, after 90/120 minutes it's been drawn. But after penalties you're either through or out- win/loss.

Anyway, it's already been pointed out that it's only the league he's unbeaten at home in, so this is a bit pointless.

No other manager can boast about being unbeaten in the League at home for 8 years though.

    Still impressive either way.

Ah yes...it was at the San Siro. Embarassed

Thought it was at the Bernabeau, since he was close to losing his unbeaten record with Madrid...of course before being mauled by Barca.

Draw the game, lose the penalties = knocked out of the tournament. But you didn't lose the game. As you've stated, you lost the round.

It's akin to being knocked out a tournament in a two legged tie when you have won the second leg.

You win the game, but still get knocked out.
