Yes, years. Where have you been? He's played crap for around 3-4 years now. Last season he was absolutely shocking, that's all I need to say. The season before that, Suarez and Sturridge bumped his stats up by getting on the end of his free kicks and winning him fuck loads of penalties. Other than that, he was pretty shit and offered no protection to our defence whatsoever. Our excellence that season was purely down to SAS bossing it every week. The season prior to that, Gerrard was crap. In fact, you know what? I can't actually remember the last season that Gerrard influenced games on a regular basis. Probably the season we finished 2nd with the Gerrard/Torres partnership, so what, 2008? He's been shit ever since then.
