I think he will fit in with the welcoming atmosphere at the club. This is a place for alcoholics, drug cheats, teenage fathers, Disc Jockey assaulters, golf-club wielders, and men who have affairs behind shower curtains. Nobody is turned away, and that is what makes Liverpool such a warm football club.

Balotelli arriving at Melwood for his medical.
Rumour going around that we are still in for Eto and that he will also be having a medical today.

World Class players are expensive.
Elsewhere, Man United are paying the same amount to Nani, to play for a different Club.

I wouldn't mind Eto'o here for depth, as long as we sign Balotelli. He'd be a short term cover for Origi - who'll be here next season - I reckon.
Next season's strike force:
Balotelli
Sturridge
Origi
Potentially Sterling, should he move in that direction.
That's cracking, to be fair.
(Lambert can gfto. I don't want Giroud-level strikers here long-term).

Yes, world class players deserve that much which is why it laughable that you're paying someone like Balotelli that much And Nani is not no £120K a week, gets your facts straight.
Also, you were profusely defending Lambert when you signed him and were desperate to put any type of positive spin on the deal. I'm glad you've realised you how stupid you were and admitted you were wrong once again.

Apparently Balotelli scored 7 goals from open play last season :/
He's never scored over 15 league goals in a season too.
Good striker but world class? LOL.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Suarez wasn't going to be very good because he was only scoring in a poverty League.
Sturridge wasn't going to be good because he was a Chelsea reject, who was too selfish.
Coutinho wasn't going to be good because he was an Inter reject. Why are Inter selling him for only £8 million if he's good? Etc, etc
Now they're trying it with Balotelli.
You would think that they would have learned their lesson by now.

Because Borini and Aspas can be compared to Balotelli

None of you were this bothered when we signed the likes of Lovren, Manquillo, Lallana, etc.

True dat. I still think he has to live up to his potential rather than being the finished article.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
It's not Balotelli's fault that he scores free kicks, is it? Half of the penalties he has scored for Milan are ones that he earned himself, so it's not like he is piggybacking on the efforts of others like Stevie Me.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I don't watch Milan that often, but from what I have seen, it's not like he gets good service all the time. Giroud had 21 "clear cut chances" in the Premier League last season, and missed 15 of those -- the most in the Premier League.
Balotelli isn't the type of forward that should lead the line either, he's more of a SS imo. He would do well with Sturridge on paper, I think.
