He has already tried going "home ", it didn't work out for him.  He should move on to pastures new and achieve greatness at a team that will finally pay what he deserves

I fully expect Wenger to spend 35 million on him and then not buy a striker.

It would be more sensible for Arsenal to sign someone like Martinez unless Wenger is thinking about selling Ozil or Ramsey  Crazy 2

Meh, he's not too bad. He's better than Giroud at least. I would be satisfied with him if we signed an additional (excellent) attacker but I don't expect it to happen. There's just no way Wenger will make more than four signings this summer.

If we signed Remy, a winger and Fabregas I'd be happy from an attacking standpoint.

I think if we sign Fabregas it's more likely we won't get a DM. I can see Wenger playing Fabregas in a deeper role in place of Arteta.

    What constitutes excellent?  Griezmann?

Preferably someone who is very talented and possesses versatility. Griezmann doesn't really offer the latter but he would be a decent addition since he will provide us with a direct goal threat. Most people who watch La Liga regularly seem to think Vela is more talented than him and he makes more sense to me in every aspect. He seems reluctant to leave Sociedad and join us, though, so that may be a problem. For me the perfect player would be Pedro Rodriguez. We should be looking at someone in that mold, as in a capable winger who can also perform adequately in a central position.

According to The Telegraph Wenger has ruled out signing him.  City are now favourites.

City would probably be the most logical. Especially if Yaya leaves. Arsenal already have Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere and Rosicky (If Rosicky is staying?) Can't see Arsene doing it. Never know, though.

Would love him at Liverpool and think he'd fit in very well with what we're doing here, but can't see it happening. £30 million on him instead of £25 million on Lallana. Seems like a no brainer. (Some of the papers are saying we are leading the race rofl)

Doubt he'd go to Man United, because they have no CL football and have been in turmoil.

    Must be City.

Why is Liverpool such a far-fetched destination?  He'd be amazing behind Suarez and Sturridge.  I thought you guys were buyers now.

I'd imagine Fabregas would be verging on suicidal if Liverpool were the best club after him.

We'd probably pay him twice what City would, that might change his mind a little.

Fabregas is trending on twitter at the moment. Apparently in London talking to Arsenal about a £29.2M move.

This would be a good signing for Arsenal as long as it doesn't mean they aren't going to splash on a DM.

Vela could do the exact same for at least 20m and a transfer saga less...

Yeah a loan deal for Sahin is exactly the perfect example here.

True, whilst you are clamoring to sign Lambert and Lallana we are turning down the likes of Fabregas who is actually desperate to join us  Smile
