Thuggish from Stokes, he's a good replacement for Scott Brown as skipper.

Extremely poor first half. What was Downing thinking, hoofing it to Celtic's striker? Wisdom has been shocking and his inexperience is being exposed.

Everyone was wank. Shittest of the shit being Lucas, Wisdom, and Enrique. Only person who didn't disappoint was Toure. Worst part is how seriously we took this game and how much stronger our team was and the fucking dire performance put out. Going to be another shit season.

Since some Liverpool fans seem to take preseason friendlies so seriously one of you better send Henry a tape of today's games just so he re-evaluate his "rivals" comments.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Abysmal performance today. Sloppy, lacked urgency, static and hardly any creativity. Credit where it's due, for Celtic though, as their defence didn't put in a single step wrong.
Enrique was pathetic. Every time he got the ball, you knew we were going to turn over possession. Wisdom was awful. In fact, only Toure put in a good shift out of our defenders. Lucas was weak and I didn't see him make a single tackle. Gerrard was woeful and extremely off the pace, he never knew when there was a Celtic player behind him, terrible awareness. Coutinho did the best with what was around him, but was quite sloppy in terms of getting a shot off. Aspas had a terrible game, didn't get into it at all. Downing was pathetic, Sturridge looked good when he came on, I am looking forward to seeing more of him, Henderson was poor, Allen had the touch of a rapist, all in all, nothing seemed to go right for our players today. Celtic were too strong and they used their physicality well.
It's not looking too good for next weekend against Stoke, if today's anything to go by. It'll depend on how Stoke approach the game. I feel they'll take notice of the way Celtic played today, and use it to their advantage.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Celtic would get relegated, that was unacceptable. Wisdom showed that he should be 4th choice CB at best.

Surely someone has to hang for making Mignolet concede?

That was pretty bad goalkeeping from Mignolet.

He just keeps doing it. One of the best in the League at doing this and on his way to becoming the best, imo. These passes that he consistently pulls off are just sublime. He does at least 1 of these per game.
