Neville's become a much more respectable human being since he became a pundit, very level-headed observation.

Did Souness really say Suarez disrespected the 96 and Anne Williams? What a moron.

RAWK was going wild over that comment. Apparently he did an interview with the Sun on an anniversary of some sort, so they didn't take too kindly to this.Eternal Witcher wrote:Did Souness really say Suarez disrespected the 96 and Anne Williams? What a moron.

He should take his hideous accent away from punditry. At least Neville speaks sense with his hideous accent.

Is he Suarez's media bodyguard or something? He does love to draw the attention away from Suarez's transgressions and hint at media conspiracies.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
My understanding is Vorm is Rodgers's first choice..
Cheers
Macca
I don't see the point of selling a decent 30 year old keeper and buying a decent 29 goalkeeper, especially since we'll probably end up paying more for Vorm than we'll get for Reina. We'll see.

I feel like it is so easy to make a football kit that everyone will like yet so often teams fuck it up. Just keep it simple and add a few small changes between the years for example a new collar, trim, or some faint lines or something.

I feel like Adidas did a solid job in that regard. They basically used the same design each year, but the slight variations in colour kept everyone happy.

I liked our purple away kits from the last season.
Stevie Nicol said on ESPN PressPass that Sturridge is an attacking midfi elder and not a striker.

Steve Nicol and Shaka are by far the worst members of the PressPass team. Gab and Mustoe ftw.

Tommy Smyth is terrible as well.
Shaka is aiight but he talks wayy too much.
I agree, Gab & Mustoe are great. Orsatti, Dan Thomas & Sid Lowe are also brilliant.

Tommy just feels like the mascot of the show. He went off the rails ages ago.

Is Derek Rae still on that? He was an awesome Champions League commentator back when ESPN had the rights.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Yeah Derek Rae is awesome, he has some great footballing knowledge.
He's no longer a host however, he comes on maybe once a month as a pundit.
We had him as the CL commentator for the final this year (on ESPN). I believe he mostly covers the Scottish league now.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
If this summer consists of buying Kolo Toure, Papadopoulos, Mkhitaryan, Aspas, Luis Alberto, Llori and we keep hold of Suarez, it'll be the best Liverpool transfer window in years.
If that happens ...
Sub choices: Kolo Toure, Llori, Kelly, Wisdom, Coady, Allen, Henderson, Luis Alberto, Sterling, Ibe, Suso, Downing, Aspas, Borini.
I'd go as far as saying that's a team worthy of competing with the Liverpool of the 2008/09 season.
If that happens ...
Sturridge
Coutinho - Mkhitaryan - Suarez
Lucas - Gerrard
Enrique - Agger - Papadopoulos - Johnson
Reina

Kinda sucks that Southampton are our transfer competition these days.
