Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
We're getting shit done. Made 4 signings already when most teams in the League are yet to make 1.
Hopefully the fact they'll all have a good pre-season together will benefit us.

Roll on next season YNWA. He should provide good backup for Stevie G.

We sold Shelvey for £5M
What a great transfer window, first we sell off Andrew for a large sum and then get £5M for Shelvey
hahahahahahahaha

Looking forward to seeing the new guys play today. Hopefully we smash Preston. Fed up of how average small teams usually make us look during pre-season. Yes, it's pre-season, but we should be capable of beating them.
Got a feeling that Aspas will be very underwhelming, but I'm hoping for the opposite.

Doing him a disservice by comparing him to Bellamy, like Thiago to Wilshere.Moriarty wrote:Aspas is world class.

4-0
Aspas impressed me, his goal was nice. Alberto looks composed on the ball. Pacheco was surprisingly good. Coutinho and Sterling were exceptional. On a whole, it was a good performance for us and it's about time we smashed a smaller team in pre-season.
In other news, Man United/Moyes lost their first pre-season game 1-0.

That shot would never have gone in against a Premier League goalkeeper. Still, he looks like he's got the skills to pay the bills.Eternal Witcher wrote:Damo, I think we might have unearthed a gem in Aspas.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Loved Coutinho's penalty. He looked at the goalkeeper the whole time, instead of the ball.
He's going to be a really special player, imo. Exactly the type of player that we'll be fending off big bids from next summer or the summer after. Wouldn't be surprised if we couldn't hold onto him.
