Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
So from reading a load of people say their opinions on what players they want brought in that put a load of names into my heads and I would be very happy with something like this:
Gamez or Ginter (Ideally Both)
Lars Bender
Ljajic
Pjanic
Dzeko.. can't think of any other striker off the top of my head
That would be a pretty good way to spend around 60 million on making the squad a lot deeper.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I think we desperately need another striker and a defensive midfielder. Those two positions have to take top priority in my opinion. Ramsey and Wilshere were just outrun in the middle of the park and the back four had no cover at all. Arteta was sorely missed today since we effectively only have one defensive minded midfield player at the club and that's him.

Apparently we're going to try for Lars Bender again.

How many of those players will be keen to be bench players? I know that 3 of those players won't sit around at arsenal.Theo Filippo wrote:So from reading a load of people say their opinions on what players they want brought in that put a load of names into my heads and I would be very happy with something like this:

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Look how thin our squad is, they'll play a lot. Bender would obviously start every game when fit.Childish Logic wrote:How many of those players will be keen to be bench players? Dzeko and Giroud, the most bovine strike force in the BPL.

Exactly, I'd only take Dzeko as a last resort purely for squad depth.Moriarty wrote:Dzeko and Giroud, the most bovine strike force in the BPL.
I want Cisse, like.

Aye, Marveaux would be an unbelievable signing, like. Walcott is English and headless, man. Get Marveaux, Cazorla, and Rosicky in behind.

4-2-3-1 with no traditional wingers is the only real formation in world football, man.

Didn't one of you guys say it wasn't difficult to compete with Southampton in terms of pulling power? (with regards to Coutinho).

Bidding 10m for Cabaye. FFS man, never rated him nor Tiote whatsoever at any point in time, Marveaux's the only really good midfielder we have.

Cabaye.

He would be a good addition to the squad if the price is right, 10 million is the max I would pay for him though.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
He would really be quite a decent signing, considering he would more than likely be sharing time with Ramsey, Wilshere, and others. He'd certainly be a better fit than Fellaini.Scott M wrote:Cabaye.
