So many undisclosed fees.
I'm annoyed that Spurs signed Clint Dempsey. In signing Lloris, Spurs have made one of the best signings of the summer, in my opinion.

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
greatest transfer window in Spurs history imo, Lloris is pretty solid, Dembele is dynamic and a decent enough replacement for Modric, so surprised we got Dempsey, didn't see Fulham selling their two best players to us, which is great because they have already played together for a while, plus Vertonghen and Sigurdsson are both very talented and look to have exciting futures at Spurs, and Adebayor sure up the striker spot. So excited for tomorrow's match, hopefully we get our best lineup out there.

sexy, only thing we need imo is a backup LB if BAE gets hurt but I think Vertonghen has played there before.

Contrasts with England games where it's just a chance to criticize other teams players as much as possible.
There's some US players I haven't liked over the years, like Ricardo Clark, Conor Casey, etc.

Great transfer window for Everton, best I can remember. Absolutely insane one for Spurs. At the beginning of the season I predicted us to finish above them, doubt we will now

João Ruela @joao_ruela
#Hulk: Deal between FC Porto and Zenit done for over €50M. Final decision is up to the player, which is in Brasil negotiating the contract.

He's almost 38 and looking for a retirement home.

If you do sign him you have no right to laugh about West Ham's strikers
Wouldn't be a bad deal if it goes through though, let's hope it's not too late for EA to put him into the game

You said you were only playing one up front. And you have Lambert, Rodriguez, Lee, Mayuka and potentially Del Piero?

I haven't laughed at WHU's strikers because we have as many if not more than them now, though all of theirs are big target men. :lobdog:Gegilworld93 wrote:If you do sign him you have no right to laugh about West Ham's strikers

Datalock hasn't come yet, not too late.
3 of our current strikers can play on the wing, though the last 3 games have shown Rod to be ineffective there.ConorCelticFC wrote:You said you were only playing one up front. And you have Lambert, Rodriguez, Lee, Mayuka and potentially Del Piero?
If we signed ADP I'd love to play him in some kind of Scholes type role.

Del Piero would not be on 20k a week.
He's had offers from China etc, you reckon they were offering 20k a week? No chance.

It's not like he has to play upfront, he could play anywhere attacking.
Also, Liverpool should go for him

Sorry, are you close friends with him? Maybe he isn't motivated by money and wants to test himself in the Premier League?Jelavić7|EFC wrote:Del Piero would not be on 20k a week.
