Matthew Kennedy has signed for Everton from Kilmarnock. West Brom have got Goran Popov from Dynamo Kiev on a year-long loan.

If that team gels then I could actually see them challenging for 4th place.arsenalap11 wrote:Lloris

I'm sure he would have chosen Tottenham over you even if you'd matched their bid.

Lloris is a good signing, goalkeepers are important and I've been thinking Friedel has been looking a bit creaky lately.

Nah, we would have signed him before they had a chance to sign him if we weren't fucking about all day

Guardian says the fee is 6 million... Don't know how reliable they are though.
Spurs and Fulham have agreed a fee for Clint Dempsey
And word is it's a mere £6m. You can't argue with that.

Oviedo interview was a bit awkward. Not sure where Everton have magiced all this money from after some really dry transfer windows in the recent past. Obviously Rodwell got some but still...

He's joining a team that finished fourth last year, only not in CL this year because of new rule. He could have done much worse than move to Tottenham. He'll have to earn a spot in that side, but I think it's something he is capable of.

Celtic sign Miku on 1 year loan. Scored 12 La Liga goals last season.

I bet it's nice having one pretty good national team player that unites everyone in support for him and his career. Contrasts with England games where it's just a chance to criticize other teams players as much as possible.

I always notice this. With USA and Canada it doesn't matter who they play for if they play for your national team you love them.Zzonked wrote:I bet it's nice having one pretty good national team player that unites everyone in support for him and his career. That's cos America only have one really good player who plays outside America, England has a few good players, who all play for rival teams

True, he should have left the MLS properly by now though. Shame Everton couldn't afford him.
