Why don't all these players just join a club permanently?

Santa Cruz, Bridge, Bentley etc... all just piss off out on loan, then come back to their clubs 6/12 months later when they're clearly not wanted.

Wage demands. Loads of them aren't willing to drop down from the £90k a week they currently earn.

Yeah as soon as I posted I realised Bridge's and Santa Cruz's wages are ridiciculous.

I wouldn't want them there if I was at City though. lool

Everton have not been granted clearance to sign Belgium international Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe on loan from Club Brugge.
FIFA has refused to ratify the transfer, which included an option for a permanent deal. Everton, who insist they submitted the necessary paperwork in time, are now weighing up the options available to them.
The Toffees said in a statement: "FIFA has today refused to ratify the loan transfer of Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe to Everton from Club Brugge.
"The decision comes despite both the Football Association and Premier League giving their full support to the loan agreement and Everton lodging the relevant signed paperwork in advance of the international transfer deadline on August 31.
"An Everton spokesman confirmed the club will consider all available options before making any further comment."

Surprised nobody has made a move for Vanden Borre. Still relatively young, not that bad of a player, and a free agent, although granted he's had his problems.

Fulham have signed veteran Greece international midfielder Giorgos Karagounis on a free transfer, handing the 35-year-old a contract until the end of the season.

    eek

Loved him back in the day, getting on a bit now though.

Karagounis is still a pretty good player, he should do well in the Premier League.
