None from me. Disapointed, obviously, but I trust Wenger.

What I found from the van Persie deal is that the uproar when expecting bad news is far less than the uproar when they get bad news.

I just think we could have used a replacement for Song in midfield, otherwise all in all this transfer window could have been worse.

Should have got a DM and another ST. We didn't though, so we'll have to make do with what we've got. If Wenger thinks the squad is capable then so be it.

Unless we agreed terms with a club without any of the press catching on, our transfer dealings for players coming in are officially over.

We can still sell Squillaci or Chamakh though, to a French club.

Good shit... sort of. Dry Smile Feels like the rivals really strengthened, but I think our current squad can do very well once they get some confidence behind them and start playing more positive football.

Before the Stoke game, Wenger said "Szczesny has a slight rib injury but he should be alright." Now Szczesny is likely to miss the Liverpool game. scratch

I'm not really concerned at all. There's areas that are lacking obviously, but it's no different to last year you act as if these holes in the squad have only just come up. Laughing

If it's injury to cartilage or muscle tissue in his ribs it can be problematic with the way that those muscles function. I tore cartilage in my rib cage a few years back, one of the most painful injuries I've had, and it had to basically heal completely before I could do anything. It's not an injury you can play through.

They've not only just come up, but I always do first XIs, second XIs, third XIs, every season, I like to do them as you probably tell.

This is the first time in a while I can barely name a 3rd XI, and our 2nd XI is quite average.

I like our current first XI, i'm more worried about no Striker then no DM.

Like it or not, Wenger said we were looking strongly at a CM/DM and if he saw quality, he'll get it.

Plenty of quality moved and he, not first the first time, didn't bloody see anything.

It's simple.. call up any club that has a DM you want.. offer a solid fee.. and go from there. hit/miss, then move on.

Instead of waiting to see who wants to be moved.

You're right though.. plenty did move around.
