They seem to think he is 7 foot tall or something. They need to cross lower for him.

He doesn't even attempt to mix into the play like RVP did. He just stands up front and waits. Not that great.

It is great, however, that Podolski and Cazorla worked really well together to help each other get the goals/assists. Exactly what we want to see. Chemistry building while getting results.

Give the crosses time, remember this is our first time we've got a striker who's a target man for us to be crossing to.

This is what I was noticing as well, but he's not good on the ball like RvP, Suarez, Tevez etc, give it time and he'll gel to the Arsenal way.

Did anybody think he would be good on the ball like those players? He holds the ball up well and his movement is very good. Give him a bit more time and he'll start scoring, especially when we start to cross well. I think he'll score next week.

Rather he didn't try and mix it with the midfield but instead stayed up top and provided a vocal point for any long balls or if he needs to hold it up. Was a threat to the Liverpool CBs all game and made some important runs to open up space.

He's not RVP and we shouldn't expect him to play like him.

He must've studied every game Busquets has played in he's literally identical to him.

What no one understands is that Giroud only scored like 3 headed goals last season, he's a poacher who thrives on the ground. Give him time, the French league is fast paced but he got a lot more space

Everyone know's he's a different player compared to them, but it's like the first time we've got a striker that won't link up unless he's in the box for example. But yeah once the first goal comes, he'll be all good and our next game's in 2 weeks, unless you was referring to France Official Arsenal FC Thread - Page 29 279869

Still worried about Jenkinson, gave the ball away a bit, but he looks decent, much less worried then I was a year ago Laughing

Mertesacker did me proud today, had a shaky first 5 minutes but he absolutely bossed it. We have very good depth in the centre-back positions.

Yes but he's got the ability, that's the important bit. Despite what people think he's actually a smart defender, just not up to scratch on the premier league quite yet... That's what I saw in him when he got ripped by everyone
