I don't believe that Steve Bruce told the chairman that he thought they could only get £4m for the England Under 21 captain.

Assaidi should start tomorrow with Sterling coming on when their defenders get tired. Or the other way round. Just no Downing please.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
No wonder Leverkusen fans are pissed off, Yesil scored 57 goals in 71 games for them at youth level.
On the subject of the lad I've just found this out.
Hopefully that just means they have first refusal should we look to sell him.

German football expert Raphael Honigstein: Bayer Leverkusen have just announced that they have an option to buy 18-year-old German forward Samed Yesil back from Liverpool "if certain conditions are met".
Hopefully that just means they have first refusal should we look to sell him.

Well, he'd obviously have to agree too. If he was doing well here, there'd be no reason to go back.

What's Morgan's record for us? Would be interesting to compare.

FSG also believe it important to keep funds back to offer the option of making Nuri Sahin’s signing permanent. Acquiring Sahin on loan from Real Madrid – ahead of Arsenal – was a major coup and Liverpool can buy the former Bundesliga player of the year for around £11m should his loan spell go well.

The little scum bag fucked us over for Real. Then went and joined the Mancs and started talking shite about us. The stories about what an utter scumbag he is with fans as well.
He shouldn't be near the club.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Gerrard is fucking terrible.
Suarez has been poor too, probably one of his worse displays for us so far, Borini, Suarez, Gerrard aren't creating anything. Sahin is confusing me, neither him or Gerrard are having any influence in midfield and Allen is pretty much alone most of the time. And at times, Sahin is the furtherest man forward, We just don't have a striker.
Whenever Gerrard gets the ball I shit it. Likewise when Cazorla and even Diaby gets it. Terrible midfield display. Missing Lucas.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Fucking abysmal. Rodgers needs to sort it out, it's like the only instruction he gives is to pass the ball short. We looked like we didn't know what we were doing, just passing it about in Arsenal's half. Sterling was the only player that stood out today, he needs to believe in himself and stop passing it to Gerrard.
Reina, Gerrard and Suarez all need to be dropped. I don't care if Saurez scored last week, his touch is abysmal, he can't play one touch passes, his finishing is woeful, he manages to take someone on like once in five attempts, and he's so fucking selfish.
Sort it out Rodgers because to be honest, this is worse than Dalglish performance wise. So much for Anfield turning in to the fortress it once was under Rafa Benitez. Also I expect a compilation of opposing teams scoring from underweight back passes at the end of the season, because of this new pathetic philosophy to remain calm and pass it out of defence.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Thank fuck that there's an international break, long to sort it out.
Reina should be dropped against Sunderland, Shelvey should start, Borini needs to play down the middle with Suarez on the right ffs
