Looking at it from a different view, if there was a replacement lined up and that would almost definitely happen, then fair enough. But Suarez & Borini are the only real strikers right now. Atm, Carroll is very much needed.

I have to say though, I'm loving the type of players we're targeting.
I've been sick to death of slow wingers. Who was the last fast winger we had? Gonzales?
Now he's pushed Sterling through. Assaidi is nicknamed the ferrari. And we're after Walcott (Don't think we'll get him).
Whether they're the right players remains to be seen, but atleast they have the attributes that I like to see.
As much as I liked Maxi and Kuyt, seeing them trying to beat a player made me want to take my eyes out.

Yeah, but that Echo article says that Rodgers has a few lined up though. It says the owners have allowed us to spend the money we'll get (If West Ham stay up
