Gutted we didn't win. But hey.. Manchester City, League Champions and I would have taken a draw before the match. I think we played some delicious football. Sterling might just get a few starts too A 17 year old played better in a single game than Downing has done in his entire career here.

I would've taken a draw too, and tbh Suarez's free kick wasn't a free kick...just trying to make myself feel better, we absolutely dominated Sterling is magnificent

Gutted. I would tell Skrtel to fuck off but he played well until that.
Kelly looks really shaky, and Reina still looks crap.

On a positive note, we didn't lose. Also, Allen played very well.

Cam deserves another match thread.

Also, Sahin and Assaidi coming in are really going to improve us. I'd drop Gerrard now, he looks shit.

And Sterling was wonderful.

Tbh I thought Kelly did well, attacking wise anyway. He, Allen, Skrtel, Enrique, Shelvey and Sterling impressed me today. Gerrard really needs to be moved to the right, if he's still in the team. Also, why wasn't Assaidi in the squad? Sterling = Got a mate who supports City who thinks Razak is better than him

I really like Joe Allen.

The whole team played well today. It's disappointing we lost the match on one momentary lapse of concentration from Skrtel who was enjoying a solid game in defence along with Coates. Still I'm somewhat concerned with Brendan playing Borini as an out and out winger when he clearly offers nothing aside from energy there.

I wonder where Sahin will slot in.
