The Barton move to Fleetwood is all for him to get his ban over with sooner. Season starts earlier in league two and there is a lot more games. Disgusting.

They only arrived last season, another great signing by Hessenthaler. Love a half time burger and chips with a hint of perv.

Yeah, it's not very nice though and it's £4.90. Towards the end of the season I ended up going McDonalds or grabbing a kebab before the match.
2 Bulmers is over £6 iirc aswell and they are small bottles.

We don't even sell chips anymore, we got rid of them because they weren't popular. We just sell Pies, Burgers, Bacon Butties, Pasties and that sort of stuff. How much do the bottles of coke and things cost at your ground?Walcott wrote:Yeah, it's not very nice though and it's £4.90. Prices of stuff at Elland Road is shocking. Pints are £3.60 now I think, crisps/Kit Kats are 90p as well. Balti pies are £3 too, nice but stupid money. I never eat in the ground, only get the odd pint. Queues are usually huge.

Newport's radio coverage is so professional. They don't have any of the team sheets. Don't know who the trialists are so they're calling both of our trialists "Mr. Trailist".

I remember going when we were in League One together and the Championship together. I hate the Leeds away end because of us stuck in the corner They also have these weird estate style cafe seats in the away end to sit down on when you buy refreshments.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:Prices of stuff at Elland Road is shocking. No idea how much bottles are. I don't like buying them because they take the caps off them.
I remember last season there was a young kid (literally about 5) with a can of coke. The stewards told him to drink it all at that time or hand it over. Such bollocks I thought, a kid his age wasn't gonna lob it at a player!

That is the most annoying thing I have ever experienced at away grounds. Luckily they don't do it at Scunny.Walcott wrote:No idea how much bottles are. I don't like buying them because they take the caps off them.

Re: npower Football League Thread
When I stewarded a game at Newport County I was meant to take them off of people but I didn't. A group of kids came in every single one had caps on their drinks and I just let them walk by. One kid even went to put his cap in the bin so I told him not to bother.

Those cafe seats are pretty cool I think, more clubs should do it. For older people who might want to sit down and eat/have a coffee I think it's good, especially these days now you can't take pints back to your seat.Trent wrote:I remember going when we were in League One together and the Championship together. The cheese wedge corner was a dream compared to where you'd be if you played us now...
Agree with you all about the bottle caps. Shelled out how ever much for a coke at Preston at half time, we scored shortly after and I knocked it over, waste of money.

Re: npower Football League Thread
Whichever club first starting doing that deserves to be liquidated. It's weird you can take a lighter into the ground but not have a bottle cap on. You can't exactly throw a bottle cap very far.

The seats come in handy I just thought they were a little weird, i'd never seen anything like it at a football match.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:Those cafe seats are pretty cool I think, more clubs should do it. Turns out the trialist at CB is Pat Keary a youth player. The other trialist is Matt Lund who is set to sign on loan again but not yet confirmed.

I'm really gutted that he's leaving. I didn't mind much when Beckford, Delph, Kilkenny and Johnson left but Snoddy is the closest thing to being Leeds through and through we've had and will have for some time.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:Bye Snoddy.
