Is this the same dog who Allen took to training at Cheltenham when there was a sign saying no dogs allowed. Laughing

    Ye, that looks like Monty.

    -

I was at Evesham 1-1 Cheltenham pre season friendly today at their new £1 million pound stadium. Decent crowd of 600ish as well, and it was nice to be able to drink a pint and watch the game.... Game was shite though.
I wish I'd known that at Farsley, drank up and then realised people were taking beers in. Nightmare. Mate was happy like cause you could smoke in the ground, he was leaning on the barrier and smoking so he was well happy. Fag and a great view, nothing like the Football League.

W2 L2 for us so far in pre-season. Happy that we are actually signing players (got Reece Brown in on loan from United last week too) but this season is going to be tough. Can't say with any confidence that I think we have a chance of the play-offs, never mind the 4th favourites to go up with some bookies Laughing

Still not sure if I'm going to that, went to the #1 club in Bristol last season and it didn't turn out too well shifty

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has brought in two experienced foreign players, one Brazilian and one German, who will then have a trial with a view to signing permanent deals with the club.

Neither players have been named, but the Brazilian is an experienced striker and the German is a midfielder.

The Sky Blues have badly needed an experienced striker who can score goals ever since they lost the services of Marlon King.

The Brazilian is said to be a big centre forward and is expected to join up with the squad later today for a training session at the Ryton training ground.

He will be joined by a German attacking midfielder who apparently likes to play wide.

It is also understood that Thorn has been tracking another striker and he is close to joining the club.

    think

We apparently made an enquiry for Sheffield Wednesday defender Mark Reynolds. He's another player to have worked under McGhee at Motherwell. They owe us money for the Lines deal still.
