That was my reaction. When SSN report it there is some plausability to the story.

    Joseph Barton ‏@Joey7Barton

Looking forward to training with Fleetwood Town for the week. Will get a much needed sweat on...
Still have 3 years left at QPR. Exciting times for the club, which I intended to be a part of. Need to get some fitness in the meantime...
Fleetwood are a young club going places. 5 promotions already in the last few years. If I help some of their young players, great.
Training with them will certainly help me with my short term fitness and my plan on being as fit as possible during my 12 game ban...

Looks like he's just training with them for now. Seems pointless to train at Fleetwood though when your own club is in pre-season now too...unless he's not wanted at QPR shifty

He's probably not wanted, but why Fleetwood? Most Championship clubs and a few Premier League clubs would accept him.

Just beat Tavistock 6-0, getting plenty of new faces in, pre season is good so far. Exciting times ahead! Smile

Your target the play-offs? I think you should make that Smile

Going for Blackburn to win the Championship this season, surprised that Kean has lasted there though Laughing

I guess were targeting the Play-Offs next year, doubt we will get it though. Barcham thinks we can get there though.

We're targeting promotion anyway possible. I'd rather finish in the top three but winning the-playoffs is a great feeling.

Yeah, I'd honestly rather win the Play-Offs than Finish 2nd and go up. When we beat Millwall at Wembley in 2009 it was amazing. The whole day was great.

Top three is our aim for this season. If we sign a decent striker than I am very confident of us doing it seeing as we've kept all our key players bar Summerfield from last season. I have faith in Yates' player recruitment skills. He has found so many gems in the likes of Pack, Jombati and Wesley Thomas (when he could be arsed) for pretty much nothing. Still gutted we lost 6 games in a row in March to move from 2nd place to 6th Twitch. Other than that we were brilliant all season. The moment it all went to the shits was when Duffy missed a penalty to put us 1-0 up away at Swindon in a 1st v 2nd clash in March.

He can't defend for shit and he's supposed to be a LB. He's ok going forward though and has some good curling right foot efforts, he scored a nice finish against Stevenage.
