Did Steven Gerrard play in this allegedly fantastic performance? I missed the game.

Seriously where the hell has Carroll been all year?
Start Sterling next game or at least give him 2nd half

Hendo is blossoming into a really nice player. I'm telling ya, I see a touch of the Schweiny about him, I really do.ScottyBoy_1989 wrote:Glen Damon wrote:Did Steven Gerrard play in this allegedly fantastic performance? I missed the game.

And Spearing didn't. That certainly helped matters.

I reckon young Spearo would have dominated Essien, just like he dominated Yaya Toure at Anfield last season. There's a touch of Mascherano about him.Eternal Witcher wrote:Glen Damon wrote:Hendo is blossoming into a really nice player. I'm telling ya, I see a touch of the Schweiny about him, I really do.

I'm finding it difficult to generate any sort of enthusiasm about the result, as spectacular as it is.

Take what you can from it, not like we have had much to choose from.

I agree with this.Eternal Witcher wrote:Danno wrote:I'm finding it difficult to generate any sort of enthusiasm about the result, as spectacular as it is.

One positive that I am taking is the playing time for Shelvey. Hopefully he starts a majority of the matches next year, that goal today was simply sensational.

Half of the time we can't score, never mind scoring four.

Suppose all the hype in the Swansea game is whether Downing can keep his perfect league record intact.
Seriously though, all hope just vanished with that spotkick.

So what Torres is to Chelsea.. Downing is to Liverpool?

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
As much as people laugh off comparisons of Carroll to Torres, he's completely eclipsed the latter in the last two games.

Are you talking about the guy from WeAreTheRedMen? That's a decent channel, they just need to cut the profanity out.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Just realised we still have Charlie Adam. Completely forgot about him since his injury. He better not be in the first team next season. I'd like to see Lucas, Henderson and Shelvey in the middle, or Aquilani instead of Shelvey/Henderson, if we get him back.
