Carroll was fantastic when he came on.

Why are we upset? This is what Carroll needed. I reckon he will score 20 goals next season, propelling us to league glory alongside Suarez and Soldado. Roll on next season!

Fairplay to Carroll, that's the only positive I can take from this. The defeat, we had coming. Back to the drawing board, and I'll be shocked if Dalglish keeps his job.

Two cups, he's brought glory back to the club. One, not so covered in glory and more focus on a disastrous season. Because honestly, we need to revamp the team and the manager to move forward. He's had his chance, he had a great chance, he failed.

So that Fulham debacle looks worse now. This game has given me renewed hope for Carroll, he can still be of some use.

Doni would've probably saved Ramires' goal tbh, he was surprisingly good against Fulham.

Dropping Carroll after he's been playing his best football yet, and playing Spearing despite his horrific performance against Fulham were two ridiculous decisions by Kenny today.
