It's only Bayern he 'flopped' for and that was because he was playing on the left of a 442 even Schweinestieger was shit in that system.

Either way, he will flop imo.
You should just kill yourself.
Because I think he will flop?
Because you're a hater. He'll obviously flop because he's not in Kenny's class of Premiership proven, won't he?

I don't follow his career closely, no. But his goal record for clubs is not that impressive imo. Great for Germany, but club level, not so great.
I wouldn't really hold his club performances against him. Köln have had what, 8 managers in the past 4 years? He was pretty good for Munich too really, only got pushed aside due to the manager's "big guy striker" fetish.

Okay, so are you all pretty confident that he'll be good for you next season then?
Anyone want a £50 bet that he won't score more than 15 goals in all competitions?

Contributed to 63% of Cologne's league goals this season. A very shit team too.
Of course he hasn't. It was patently clear from the start, I just wanted to walk him through why his stupid "opinion" was completely worthless in an attempt to educate him.

Around 45%.. What does that have to do with Podolski?ScottyBoy_1989 wrote:Rick Rosstrich wrote:He hasn't even watched him, that's what makes his 'opinion' funny.Mr. Kurtz wrote:

What percentage of Arsenal goals has RVP contributed to this season?

Where did you get that statistic from?
I was just curious, that's all.

He's great for Germany and he was good for Bayern. If anything he was pushed out at Bayern. You really don't have a single bit of knowledge about him, do you? You're just 'trolling' as usual. When really you're just a dumb, bitter fuck and you envy other teams for signing good players while your team is signing Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson.

You are attempting to educate a proven professor and scholar? A scientist whose unrelenting desire for knowledge and love of research has taken him through countless Arsenal threads? My my, you are very brave my friend, very brave indeed

It's still 6 goals more than what the second highest goalscorer in Arsenal has at the moment :/

I agree that he's good for Germany. His goal return was average at Bayern. I'm not trolling actually, I just don't see the hype with Podolski, that's all. Just accept it, tbh.
Maybe flop was a bit harsh, but I don't see him being a star player for you. Just average. Steady.
Ok, calm down with the insults, fucking hell.
Yeah, I'm envious of Arsenal.

I'm tempted.
So if he gets 16, I win the bet?

He was the runner up for the Bundesliga POTY wasn't he?

Also Scott do u wanna bet £10 he will score more than 15 goals in all competitions? I personally think he will get that easily unless RVP stays.

Yeah, I'm envious of Arsenal.
I seriously think you do envy Arsenal. Podolski will most likely play on left or behind RVP depending on his contract situation. Podolski is undoubtedly better than Gervinho, Chamberlain, Rosicky and Ramsey who would normally play those positions. He scores goals and he assists quite a few for that shit team too.
He has all the ingredients to be a star player for us.

Er ... I did say envy Arsenal I've always envied their style of play. I envy Robin Van Persie. I envy Chamberlain and Wilshere. I don't envy your signing of Podolski though. If I wanted him at Liverpool, I'd be saying how disappointed I am, like I was with Mata.
I think Chamberlain will be better for you next season than Podolski.

£50.
Are you seriously betting lol?
He has to score less than half the goals RVP has scored this season and he will be replacing RVP in our starting line-up. Unless he gets loads of injuries that won't be a problem at all. Also I'm pretty sure he will be taking our penalties too. You're just wasting money

Yeah it's a serious bet, in fact, so serious, that I'll raise it to £100.
@ Mal, honestly think Walcott will score more than Podolski.

Chamberlain might be but there's no need for the hate. You've made/attempted three £50 bets on this forum, 2 are to do with Arsenal. I don't know what type of kick you get from hating on us but it's weird. I'm assuming you're just copying what some Arsenal fans did to you...
This whole Arsenal - Liverpool thing on this forum is pathetic and a lot of it is down to you. Srs.

Scott, if he ends the season with 15 goals and however many assists how would you be able to label him as a flop?

I only 'hate' on Arsenal, because of how Arsenal fans are towards Liverpool on here.
