Either way, he will flop imo.
Why do you think that will be the case?

He will be nothing like Chamakh, his good first few months where he scored quite a few was quite uncharacteristic of him he wasn't known for scoring a lot for Bordeaux.ScottyBoy_1989 wrote:Just think that will happen.
I can also foresee Arsenal fans lambasting him for not living up to Van Persie's standard (if he leaves)
I think he'll be the next Chamakh.

That presumes that van Persie's leaving which is still very much undecided. You stated that you think he will flop even if van Persie stays. Can you please explain why you think that will be the case?
ScottyBoy_1989 wrote:No, by all means, enjoy your party. I'd be pleased with a new signing right now. But I can't help but think he'll be a flop. I think he'll start out well, like, grab 4 goals in 4-6 games, then from then on he'll be very average.

I just think it will be the case. From what I've seen from Podolski, he isn't that brilliant and I have a feeling he'll struggle with the pace of the Premier League.

Again, I ask why. Do you often watch him? Have you been following his career closely? If so, then what have you observed that makes you somewhat sure that he'll flop?

Fucking hell. It's just an opinion.

I did not criticise your opinion, I merely wanted to know your reasons so I myself can form an opinion.

He hasn't even watched him, that's what makes his 'opinion' funny.Mr. Kurtz wrote:ScottyBoy_1989 wrote:Mr. Kurtz wrote:

I don't follow his career closely, no. But his goal record for clubs is not that impressive imo. Great for Germany, but club level, not so great.

Contributed to 63% of Cologne's league goals this season. A very shit team too.
