Good signing, but he has little to no flair. Was hoping for someone like Belhanda or Kawaga but I suppose Podolski's good

Don't waste your money, buy something nice in topman instead

Good work anyway voyeur. Good replacement for RVP.

I don't know but I'd like to hear their predictions for the lottery.

I was pretty accurate, then. Said the same about Kagawa.

It was me that said that, Grenade.

Either way, he will flop imo.

Why do you think that will be the case?

Anonymous wrote:Just think that will happen.

I can also foresee Arsenal fans lambasting him for not living up to Van Persie's standard (if he leaves)

I think he'll be the next Chamakh.

That presumes that van Persie's leaving which is still very much undecided. You stated that you think he will flop even if van Persie stays. Can you please explain why you think that will be the case?

I just think it will be the case. From what I've seen from Podolski, he isn't that brilliant and I have a feeling he'll struggle with the pace of the Premier League.

I did not criticise your opinion, I merely wanted to know your reasons so I myself can form an opinion.

I don't follow his career closely, no. But his goal record for clubs is not that impressive imo. Great for Germany, but club level, not so great.

Anonymous wrote:Okay, so are you all pretty confident that he'll be good for you next season then?

Anyone want a £50 bet that he won't score more than 15 goals in all competitions?

I agree that he's good for Germany. His goal return was average at Bayern. I'm not trolling actually, I just don't see the hype with Podolski, that's all. Just accept it, tbh.

Maybe flop was a bit harsh, but I don't see him being a star player for you. Just average. Steady.

Ok, calm down with the insults, fucking hell.

    Yeah, I'm envious of Arsenal.

I seriously think you do envy Arsenal. Podolski will most likely play on left or behind RVP depending on his contract situation. Podolski is undoubtedly better than Gervinho, Chamberlain, Rosicky and Ramsey who would normally play those positions. He scores goals and he assists quite a few for that shit team too.

He has all the ingredients to be a star player for us.
