TalkSPORT were reporting it earlier.
It's only personal terms, right?

Re: Lukas Podolski
A few websites said we have agreed personal terms but I'm not believing anything until I see him in an Arsenal shirt.

Re: Lukas Podolski
Some confusion I believe.
I have information from my sources that the German talent joining Arsenal Football Club is actually Mario Götze.

Re: Lukas Podolski
Seems to be true.
He's 27 or 28 isn't he? Should be a brilliant signing. Him and RvP

I'm sure he will keep Gervinho out of the starting 11.

Re: Lukas Podolski
You guys make it seem like Koln play in the fucking 4th tier of German football, he's scoring goals for fun at Koln at the moment and it's in the same league as Munich.
But he'd do badly for us, at Koln he's their talisman, at Arsenal he'd have to play second fiddle to van Persie, either out on the wing or on the bench, it's a risk getting him as he might not play like he does for Koln when he's played like that.
I know he plays LW for Germany but that's international football, it's not a very good barometer for a player's potential performances week in week out, especially if the player is German.

That's good and all but I'd rather have Matias Suarez

Re: Lukas Podolski
Podolski isn't the player Arsenal need if RVP is leaving. He won't score as much goals at the top level as he would for Koln in the Bundesliga. Again, If RVP is leaving Arsenal at the end of the season then a better striker is needed to make up for his quality.
Podolski would be a great player for on the wing though. Making up for Arshavin and Gervinho's terrible performances this season.
