Van Persie will be going.
I wouldn't mind a 6ft5 beast to accompany Podolski up top but I think we're more interested in Belhanda too. Well I hope so because people like Diaby need sending to a glue factory.

Mauro isn't English, i've heard him speak.
You play with two in midfield no? I don't think he'll prefer being shipped out to the wings when he's an attacking midfielder. If it was a race between Arsenal and Liverpool I just couldn't see him fitting in there more than he could at Arsenal, even with bigger wages tbh. They (montepellier also have champions league football)

I think Kuyt and Maxi will leave in the summer.
Plus we normally have one winger hugging the sidelines, with the other winger, coming inside more. So that is where he could play?
Plus he would probably shit on any "proper wide player" we have.

Yeah, 'cause changing our formation is impossible.
We played with 3 in the middle against Norwich. Gerrard, Henderson and Shelvey.

Could do, he's a really good winger but he's destined to be in the middle. I rate him higher than Nasri tbh

I didn't say it was, 3 is the only way he could play in a position he prefers alongside Lucas + Gerrard. Dalglish wouldn't sacrifice Gerrard to be dropped from being in the hole for Belhanda, he knows Gerrard will be outraged and turn out to be shit like when he was/when he played/plays there this season.

Is this season he is, but so was Marvin Martin and Gignac (Very similar styles to Giroud + Belhanda) and they faded away.

Nope, Kenny has this fantastic mentality that he wants to win every game, big or small, and I reckon we'll go for it and show the league of what we are made.Jordo wrote:I presume most of the team will be rested for the final?

"One position were players can be a bit slower is the defensive midfield position. In tonight game against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, I am a great admirer of Xabi Alonso, and he is intelligent tactically on and off the ball, and his decision making is outstanding and he is not the quickest player on the pitch"
He said something after the not the quickest player on the pitch, but I can not understand it. His accent is hard to follow.
That fourth official guy paraphrased what he said.
