Fantastic signing for PSG, If Montipellier lose most of their good players than I think PSG will win the League.

With Ancelotti as manager, they could make it quite far in the Champions League.

Napoli probably sold him because he wanted much more wages than they thought he deserved. Great coup for PSG.

Like a boss. A pretty good signing for Saints. J-Rod is pretty epic.

Thiago Silva in PSG talks apparently

Goal's "source" isn't that inaccurate as most would think

The Thiago Silva transfer looks like it really could happen. L'equipe are reporting it and Leonardo has now confirmed that they're in negotiations with Milan.

This transfer seems all but done. What the fuck?
PSG would be unstoppable next season . Wonder who Milan would get to replace him, must be pretty high-profile since Thiago Silva is the world's best centre back imo.

Forty million euro profit if they sell him for the price that's being mentioned... I still think it's a stupid decision if they want to remain competitive in the Champions League. Most of the top center-backs aren't going to move.

Milan are probably the team that approached Hummels, but were denied. Wouldn't be surprised if they comeback with a higher sum.

Thiago Silva would be a fantastic signing for PSG, they're showing there huge ambition ever more this transfer window. I can certainly see them winning the league next year.

I probably think this way due to being in NA and being used to the business of sport but the truth is that all fans should get used to the trend. It may be the only thing to save football in its current form. The players generally get paid less than their counter-parts in NA sports (NBA, NFL etc..) and football is supposed to have the bigger draws. There is an issue in football with the over saturation of teams (not from the fans view but from the business side).
Top teams struggle to stay in the green and lesser teams suffer from the lack of profit sharing and investment.
There are really only two fixes:
Increase investment (i.e: more teams with richer owners) or;
Decrease the amount of teams.
As much as it is a change that people complain about, I think that most would vote to have more money invested into the game then to have teams close their doors forever.

"Our financial situation is bad, there is nothing I can do about Thiago," he is quoted by La Stampa as saying.

Looks like it's actually happening
