Not really, Berba's footballing IQ is much higher, and his technique is up there with the very best.

Well he's more of an actual attacking attacking mid, I was hoping he'd get sub appearances tbh

Can't see it happening next season, maybe the season after. I think he should go on loan to someone like Villa or Fulham.

I imagine he'd be third choice for CAM. Hazard and Mata would obviously be preferred. The last thing they'd wanna do is upset him by not playing him.

Jackson Martinez to Porto for around 6.5 million pounds according to John Sutcliffe. Sutcliffe is pretty reliable when it comes to this kind of thing so I want to believe him.

He was heavily rumored to be going to Liverpool but when Falcao left Porto it was said that Porto was looking for another striker to help fill the void. And they like signing South Americans on the cheap and especially like signing Colombians. So they probably just showed more interest.

I feel Liverpool really missed out to be honest. Jackson is a bit irregular at times but he's an incredibly versatile striker, strong, fast, tall, good header of the ball, good shot on him and can take on a man. He'd at least help create some chances and keep defenders busy while Andy Carroll looks to convert a sweaty goal. Wanted to see him with Liverpool so when he has a good game I'd be like, "called it."
