They're trying to get the best price they can. Nothing wrong with that.ViVaRooney wrote:i hate how they set their price depending on what other teams pay for other players
if everyone did that players like chamakh would cost £40m since Carroll was £35m

Where do you guys think Florent Cuvelier will go? I personally see him as a League 1 Player so I can see him coming to a League One club.

Mido might be headed back to England. His father claims offers arrived from Bolton, Blackburn & #WHUFC
What the hell do clubs see in him? He isn't even good enough for Zamalek's reserves.

Scores 2 goals in 3 league games for Zamalek ... Not good enough for reserves.
Either mad or cretin.

The fact that he has only played 3 matches in the last 2 years, tells you something.

He joined around 1 year and 3 months ago, though could not play for 9 months or something due to a registration problem. = he's played for you for around 5 months. So it's your manager that is the problem. Not picking him with such a prolific record.

First of all, I'm not a Zamalek fan. Second of all, he wasn't selected by the manager because his fitness was shit and they had a lot more better players.

Seen a few papers reporting Barca are considering Zabaleta, that better be (and probably is) bullshit.

Definite bullshit, they already have Alves and Montoya.

But Alves might leave. Anyways, I doubt Barca would go for Zabaleta.

The article I read said he was a replacement for Alves, but then never really explained where Alves was going.

Wasn't it Alves for Zabeleta in a swap?

Here's one

I would be disgusted if we sold him for £8m.

The Spanish giants have got their eyes on the versatile Argentinian as a cut-price £8m deal to bolster their squad.
Barca’s Brazilian right back Dani Alves has been questioned over his defensive duties and Paris Saint Germain are keen on him.

Sebastian Giovinco's agent is saying Barca have placed a bid for the player.
Also, Barcelona are hoping to sign Jordi Alba for 12M, while Valencia want 18M.

Really interesting to see what changes Vilanova will make, if Alves does leave Barcelona I hope to God he's still in the main European leagues.

He is getting offers from other clubs. Would be a big loss though for Barca.

I'm talking about after they finally registered him. Hassan Shehata said he would not select him because he isn't fit enough. He would only play Mido if his other strikers were injured/suspended. There was even an issue where the club didn't pay him wages because they felt he wasn't doing anything to deserve it. They finally terminated his contract a few weeks ago. Oh, and one of his goals for Zamalek was a penalty kick I believe.
Please don't argue with me about Egyptian football.

Ban? Banning me is like deletingsystem32 on your computer, it'd kill it. The beating heart of the community is required, therefore your request must be rejected.

You're often wrong about European football so why should everyone just take your word on Egyptian football? From wikipedia it seems that his attitude is the problem, not his ability (3 goals in 4 games), so to say he isn't 'good enough' seems a bit wide of the mark.

Trust me, he isn't good enough. He has had weight and fitness problems for years (not just at Zamalek). Mido has always had a great scoring rate in his first few games for any club he joins. He did it at Wigan and Ajax then his true quality showed and he fell in the pecking order before being released. Most overrated Egyptian footballer ever.

Chelsea forward Didier Drogba, whose contract expires and who offered himself to Barcelona, still waits for Barcelona to make a move. [md]
Hmm.

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
that would be a good move for barca but for drogba? he would be in the same situation he is now.. in that he would only play when needed, so he would be benched alot
