I genuinely believe that he's good enough but it probably isn't going to happen.
He would start in United's midfield, that is for sure.

Not in their current 442 he wouldn't, as a central midfielder that is. As I said yesterday he's more of a #10 to me, don't think they'd change their system just to accomodate him, even though he's brilliant. The Bat-Man wrote:Mr. Kurtz wrote:

we can probably guarantee 1st team football more than you.

Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Kos and Vertonghen are all first team player so I cant see them being used for rotation.

Yeah he seemed to dive quite a lot and seemed to have a temper on him. But his work rate is phenomenal and his heading is great for a small guy.Lux wrote:Trent wrote:You should let Garner come to us, he was a loan last year and I thought he was a very nice player.
He had quite a good goal ratio for you, but it just hasn't happened with us. His finishing really isn't good.....his only goal was literally a tap in. His work rate is good....and he is really good at getting free kicks by going down easily ...but at this level it's about goals....don't think he's good enough yet.

Derdiyok is a good player imo, good signing for them.jaq bauwer wrote:Hoffenheim signed Tim Wiese (free transfer) and Derdiyok (undisclosed fee).
£7m for Vertonghen is a good deal. A couple of years ago, City paid £10 for Boateng and Spurs paid £8 for Bassong.
Good move for Derdiyok, he had an inept player in the form of Kiessling ahead of him, Eren's much better than him. Has to be a starter for Hoffe. Fee was 4m Euros I think which is really cheap for a player of his quality.jaq bauwer wrote:Hoffenheim signed Tim Wiese (free transfer) and Derdiyok (undisclosed fee).
