Hazard is the biggest cock tease in world football. I hope his testicles explode now.

Craig Gordon is a good keeper when he is on form. I remember he had the game of his life against City once and it was a pain in the arse.

Hooper isn't even in our top 5 players in my opinion, but even so Celtic just don't sell important players to sides like Southampton. The likes of you and Wigan take our Maloneys, our Caldwells, our Marc-Antoine Fortunes. Not players we actually want to keep. I would take 10 million but I very much doubt he will press for a move. Have a good time bumping this if I'm wrong but Hooper will not be going to Southampton.

Oh yeah, because defenders and midfielders are measured by how many goals they score aren't they?
Mulgrew, Izaguirre, Kayal, Ledley and Wanyama are all better and Hooper's being top scorer doesn't make the smallest bit of difference. And Forrest, Matthews, Rogne, maybe even Forster have better potential.

What's Wanyama like, Conor? I've heard good things about him.

I have man-love for him. The best 20 year old defensive mid I'm aware of, absolutely dominated M'Vila when we played Rennes.
Gotta love this video, especially the end.

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
"The new Desailly" wasn't Desailly a centre back?
That video was good, he looks solid. The ending was pretty funny. Do you think he's found his level at Celtic or can he move onto bigger things? What's the furthest you see him going?

I'd say he has more potential than any other player we have, I can see him making it at any level in the game. He's one of the most physically beastly players I've seen but his composure and awareness is class too. Already shits over the likes of Mikel in my opinion.
Desailly was both wasn't he? Same as Big Vic, excellent at centre-back too.

Borussia Dortmund's highly-rated Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa will cost prospective buyers around 20 million euros (£16.17m).
The club's owner Hans-Joachim Watzke revealed the German champions want a 'princely sum' despite the 23-year-old having just a year remaining on his contract.
Kagawa, who netted 17 goals for Dortmund this season to help them secure a second consecutive title, has already met for talks with Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson, while he has also been linked to other high-profile clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan.
But Watzke told Sport Bild that the club would not be fooled into selling him for a derisory price.
"We all know the abilities of Shinji, his youth and the value he adds to this side," said Watzke.
"I also note what Bayern Munich paid for goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (22 million euros from Schalkelast year).
"He also only had a year left on his contract. Given those facts we can certainly expect a princely sum for him."

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
i hate how they set their price depending on what other teams pay for other players
if everyone did that players like chamakh would cost £40m since Carroll was £35m

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
what they feel the players actually worth, why is one club overpaying mean everyone has to overpay?
playing in his last year i would say he should be £10m at most. but he is their player and they can ask for however much they want so..

That's cheap considering his talent.

Re: Summer Transfers Thread 2012
But if they see clubs are willing to pay more for a player of equal or lesser talent, then why should they not ask for more money? That is called business sense.ViVaRooney wrote:what they feel the players actually worth, why is one club overpaying mean everyone has to overpay?
