Who knows what he wants? If PT is important to him, Chelsea and United make more sense. If cash money is all he's after, City makes the most sense.

I think Chelsea are capable of providing both to be honest.

Why wouldn't he get as much playing time with City? Laughing

Think we had a smaller squad than United last year, think it was 22 to 25. Yes we rotate, but most attacking players got between 40-50 appearances. Lowest was Balotelli who got 31.

My point had nothing to do with us not managing with a squad that size, my point was that all our players got playtime.

Fun fact, Nasri played more in more games than Rooney.

Highly doubt he will get the job. Look at Chelsea's record since he took over and it's actually worse than AVB's. They have been playing some awful football and Roman knows it, if they play like this next season they will finish 6th again. Yes the CL win is brilliant but really everyone in world football knows it was down to luck more than skill and it's impossible to be that lucky again. It's a case of what happened at Inter a few seasons back they had a old group of players that preformed at their maximum and the next two seasons declined and Moratti can't change an entire group of players into two years, it's the same with Chelsea expect they don't even play anywhere near as good as Inter did that season. Realistically Lampard, Drogba, Cole, Terry will been even worse next season and that's the spine of the team. Only real quality they have is Mata and Ramires they rest of the squad is average at best.

You can't compare RdM's record to AvB's. RdM won two major trophies. Back to the record, RdM played vs Spurs, Arsenal, Man City & Newcastle in the space of a few weeks, all who ended up finishing above us, AvB had a lot longer than that.

Hardly and excuse. AVB would have won the FA cup also it's not like you had a hard run and the only standout performance was that win against a Spurs side lacking in confidence and form. The CL was pure luck, a brilliant achievement and well done, but still Robbie will have sat awake last night I realized how fucking lucky he was. In the long AVB was the right man for Chelsea, Roman should have waited a year and shipped Terry and Co out because AVB was at least building a brand of football that would have help Chelsea in the future. Robbie has come in and basically said sit back and defend deep in numbers and that's fine for cup competitions if you have luck but that won't work ever again.

I'm over the moon. The moment when Drogba stood up for the final penalty was insane.

Rick Rosstrich wrote:Hazard will reveal where he's going tonight.

    Source?

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is offering to pay Belgium star Eden Hazard a staggering £250,000 a week, which he believes will see off competition from Manchester City and United.
Hazard's agent was in London on Saturday according to reliable sources in France.
Chelsea expect a £30million fee for Lille's 21-year-old attacking midfielder and the offer of a fiveyear deal will be successful.

What a load of shit. AvB would not have won the FA Cup, the squad gave up on playing for him altogether because he alienated everyone and brought a cloud of drama over the club, the dressing room was split. Robbie would have been awake last night partying with the squad because they've pulled off what no-one thought could have been pulled off, and what the club has been waiting for ever since Roman took over. AvB may have had a vision, a long term strategy, but he didn't execute it in anywhere near the right way, too much too soon and he lost the dressing room, which is fatal when you're the manager of Chelsea. AvB wasn't building a brand of football, it didn't work for him and he gave up on it, pretty much at the same time the squad gave up on him. That's Di Matteo's style, he's Italian, that's his style of football.

If you actually think DiMatteo sat out to play defensive football you're an idiot, we thumped Spurs, beat Liverpool, thumped QPR etc, we came up against Barcelona and people try to crucify us for doing what we had to do, if we played any other way we would not be European champions, yes we got some luck but every team needs luck to win.

Nothing wrong in playing like you did against Barca, yes we would all love to see our teams playing open attractive attacking football and winning, but im afraid that does not always work and it would take time and a lot of different players to change things to be able to play like that and win. And some people have lost the plot thinking that Chelsea should have went out and tried to play an attacking style against the likes of Barca.Laughing

They got lots of luck, but showed some tremendous fight and spirit to beat Barca and to also did the same last night to go on and win the Champions League.
