Also read in the same article that Bale is an Arsenal fan. No idea if that's 100% true though, insane if it is Laughing and that Wenger did indeed turn down Parker before he came to us overruling his main scout bloke Rowley.

That's interesting , nothing substancial though. I mean a lot of youung people became fans when we dominated during the early 2000's

Bale is definitely an Arsenal fan, I remember watching an interview with the Welsh Rugby captain who went to school with him

I think he's going to try to leave regardless, a man like van Persie takes what he wants, and a man like van Persie does not want 4th place and no trophies. He's waiting because he doesn't want to be be on the end of disgusting abuse from his own fans like Nasri was when they turned on him for trying to advance his career.

So Gibbs was fit today. Not sure if he played well, very suspect defensively. Dangerous going forward, though. I was so frustrated with Walcott aswell. He was awful in the first half. I called for a sub, suddenly he decides to play superb in the second half.

Proud of the team today. Spirit shown by them all. Please play like this for the rest of the season. Thank you!

Take away Robin Van Persies goals this season, Arsenal would be sitting 3 points above the relegation zone.

Obviously someone else would be there to score some of his chances, but that's still incredible.

    What a player.

Fucking hell, I didn't realise it was that bad. Embarassed

We would definitely struggle in the goal scoring departmend, Chamakh would get us a few goals but he hasn't got the killer instinct of Rvp. Smile

Haha, that wasn't my intention. I don't usually watch his interviews.

Still buzzin'! Vermaelen, Koscielny, Song, Arteta, Rosicky and RVP, beasts. Walcott's second half performance aswell.

Guys did you see when van Persie dribbled past like 7 players trying to keep the ball, I thought he was going to lose it, but I don't know how he kept it with him.

What a class player, give him anything he wants, he better stay, if we get CL football next year he should stay, I mean he's playing the best football of his life, the fans love him, his family love the city, if he stays Wenger can attract the right player to make us a title challenging team again.

He has to stay, no ifs buts or maybes, he HAS to sign that contract.

Yes, Rvp's was magic, both of Walcott's were well taken, good header from Sagna, and Rosick'y finish wasn't bad either.

Let's just keep this going and concentrate on doing this again against Liverpool.

Rosicky today though, absolutely amazing, it was so surprising to see him absolutely boss the game today, what a legend.

World class performance, here's hoping this match be the turning point of his Arsenal career.
