Sorry to say, Newcastle are looking better than Arsenal ATM. They have one of the highest scorers in the league, and they just bought another world class striker to accompany him. They have a great defense with one of the leagues best goalies. Not to mention one of the best, and one of my favorite, managers in the league.

What a load of shit. They just got shat on by Tottenham a week ago five fucking nil. They have one of the highest scorers in the league? Well we have the highest scorer in the league. And since when is Papiss Cisse fucking world class? Looks a good player, sure, but world class? What on earth? And they have a great defense now? Do they really? They have one good centre half in Coloccini (who isn't even that good with his atrocious heading success rate), one decent full-back in Santon and that's it. Krul might be one of the best goalkeepers sin the league, but if he is, then Szczesny sure as fuck is as well. None of what you said though is remotely as ridiculous as that last sentence. Alan fucking Pardew is now one of the best managers in the league? When the hell did that happen? A man who once played Hayden Mullins and Bobby Zamora instead of Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez and you tell me he's one of the best managers in the league? Even with Newcastle, he hasn't even done a good job. They have a great scout who spots quality players and manages to get them for bargain prices. Their team consists of good players but that's it. They've been getting by thanks to the individual efforts of their players. As a team, they're very limited. Pardew hasn't established any sort of style in which they play their football. If I ask you now "how do Newcastle play", what would you say? Do they play free flowing possession football? Do they play quick counter-attacking football? Do they play boring defensive football? No, they have no style whatsoever and it's because of Pardew's limitations and incompetence.

Fuck, I remember when Djourou was supposed to be "one of the best prospects out there". Now he's a "donkey"
That's Arsenal for you though, same will probably happen to Chamberlain.

No, i dont think we will finish in the top 4, but to laugh at such a notion is rude and disrespectful to a club with genuine quality. But nevertheless we will take the tag of unfavored underdogs, who were meant to have quietly slipped away by now into the mediocrity of mid table, into our stride. We have proven people wrong with every passing game, and i very much hope we can continue to do so. With an aging Chelsea with their inner fracas, an Arsenal side in meltdown and with a Liverpool side fresh from their own controversies and debatable squad quality, we'll take our chances.

No, that's the fucking point. I didn't want to have to go through the whole "yeah you have inferior players in comparison to John Terry, Suarez, Van Persie, Adebayor etc" because it's so obvious. Punching above your weight only gets you so far

He told ITV: "You're on about trying to do well for your manager and once again they're letting him down."
"This is probably the worst Arsenal team I've seen in all my time of watching football," he added.
"They've been sloppy, which led to the goal, there has been no focus to their passing. It's been slow it's been sideways, it's been backwards.”

I don't think Santon is that good, shows signs of good potential but he is pretty overrated atm.

Given that Newcastle is in way better form than both Arsenal and Chelsea at the moment it's not out of the question that they could get fourth if they manage a few surprising results is it?
