Wasn't sure whether to post this in here or General Discussion. Jeff Winter is a former Premier League referee and supports Rangers. He appears on TalkSport and Sky Sports. He has been in trouble in the past with what he writes on his official website. This is his latest offering:



People get arrested for less on social networking websites. It's been reported to the police and it's now trending worldwide on Twitter, having been brought to the attention of journalists.

There's a lot worse out there. Even people on panel shows and stuff have called the pope a Nazi, why would he even be arrested? I despise the Catholic Church although I go about expressing it in a very different manner, he's not going to do very well as a journalist with that. I don't know anything about the "Big Jock Knew" thing, never bothered with it, but needless to say, anyone who permits children to be exploited by priests is a cunt.

I honestly think the "dress-wearing" bit is the stupidest part of it. Could be a hack though.

First sign is that before the word 'but' in the two offending paragraphs there is a comma. Obviously this is poor grammar and he doesn't do that at any other point in his blog.

Secondly it was published on the 28th. If it was written on the original it would have already been discovered by now.

I remember I was at an Everton v City game at Goodison and Winter was reffing. The game was one of the most boring I've ever seen, but I remember it because the ball hit Winter. It was the first time I'd ever seen that happen and I was appalled.
