Also, negrito might be accepted in Latin America, dunno bout that, but it isn't really in Spain, just asked five Spanish people I know via fb and everyone of them said that it's slightly racist for them.
I am not too surprised considering the racial makeup of Spain. But that isn't relevant as Suarez is from South America.
If anything, negrito is a friendlier version of the term negro. Almost like a pet name.
