Yeah mate, because he was going to get past Reina into the first team...

They are going to at the end of the week.

Yeah, because saying stuff like Suarez has friends who are black really fucking prove he can't have said a racist term to Evra. Really, what use does that have?
And the last paragraph is an absolute joke, could it be any more petty?Yes, but it is kind of stupid to ban Suarez on the way a certain player interpreted his use of language in another language.Gegilworld93 wrote:
Yeah I know that but he should know that it doesn't work like that in England and that people will be offended.
Also, negrito might be accepted in Latin America, dunno bout that, but it isn't really in Spain, just asked five Spanish people I know via fb and everyone of them said that it's slightly racist for them.
I am not too surprised considering the racial makeup of Spain. But that isn't relevant as Suarez is from South America.
If anything, negrito is a friendlier version of the term negro. Almost like a pet name. (It doesn't necessarily mean 'small black person' (though that could be one of it's uses), could be any darker skinned man) Honestly, I've heard the fucking president of Venezuela use the words negrito in his speeches.

Yeah, you brought up 3 paragraphs, well done. But you still haven't proven me wrong, I've said all you do is say something is a load of shit, facepalm it or post a simley, and you're still doing the SAME THING.
Makes perfect sense that mate.

Nope, I am pretty sure this is the first time this thread I actually knew wtf you were talking about.Danny wrote:It's bought up a load of crap about Suarez having black team mates, friends, campaigning against racism etc... as if it ever rules out him saying a racist term.polska. wrote:You haven't actually given a reason yet.
Nope, I don't think I have equated Suarez to a demi-god yet...
And then it's ridiculously petty at the end by practically begging the FA to ban Evra.
And oh yeah, that's already been said, maybe I wouldn't be repeating it if you'd read the thread properly.

Also, surely if Suarez racially abused Evra then he would have went mad on the pitch? Not after the game so him and Fergie can make up a nice little lie.

He didn't even go to Fergie. He went to the French press.Mason wrote:Cam wrote:

He notified the referee and the incident was included in his match report.
If so, the vast majority of Venezuelans are racists then.Laurencio wrote:polska. wrote:Just like Jela, you really aren't worth the time...

Negro/Negrito followed by an insult is almost always considered racist, bar in a few social circles, that includes South America. You should also know that experts in South American culture and language were brought in on the case.
Agreed, they shoot a black man in the arse on Mercs 2.polska. wrote:If so, the vast majority of Venezuelans are racists then.Laurencio wrote:

Well I don't think they would discriminate in shooting of random civilians, as the front page of the daily newspapers there suggest.Jordi wrote:Agreed, they shoot a black man in the arse on Mercs 2.polska. wrote:

If anything, one thing I've learned is that racism is a much more prominent issue in North America and Europe than in Latin America.

I'm aware, should be a more talked about issue though. I don't think Suarez would've said negrito in such a fashion if he was intentionally being racist with his language, and on-field banter between players is a part of the game. Of course there is a line, but I don't think Suarez crossed it.Laurencio wrote:polska. wrote:He didn't even go to Fergie. He went to the French press.
Wrong. He notified the referee during, and after the game. He was, after the game, approached by Canal + and asked why he was so upset with Suarez, and what his dispute with him was about.
Evra responded with:
"He must have been caught by the cameras. He said a certain word to me at least 10 times."
Note, that Suarez can easily be convicted of having said something racist without actually being a racist.
We don't know what Suarez said exactly so we can't say. Seek my earlier example. It isn't black and white, negrito could've easily been used as a pronoun.Laurencio wrote:polska. wrote:

Read what I said Polska. Negro and Negrito in themselves are not racist remarks. Followed by an insult, they do tend to be considered as one.
