It could end up becoming a Chelsea - Man City two horse race I guess. Both clubs are pretty stupid rich.

By the way, being stupid rich is having so much money you don't know what to do with it.

    @ Cam

Valencia third place in La Liga right now is 7 points from Real Madrid.

Spurs third place in the BPL right now is 6 points from Manchester City.

Still though, I kinda agree with what your saying but it's not so much that Valencia and the like are so much weaker than their PL counter parts but that Real Madrid are so much better than their BPL counter parts.

You could probably throw Manchester City and United in La Liga and they'd be 4th and 5th.

Leicester put a £1.5m offer in for Cameron Stewart. I'm assuming they will receive a resounding "no thanks and fuck off Nigel"

Josh King coming on loan from Man U. Trying to sign Adam Hammill from Wolves on a perm.

One of the best wingers in the league. Only came back from a serious injury a couple of months ago, but he is the tricky winger that every full back hates in this league. Scored the 3rd in the FA Cup yesterday too.

Hull have quite a team, I reckon if Barmby had started as the manager this season then they'd be up at the top. Bear in mind, they just lost 3 games in a row 1-0 in which they completely dominated, Barmby has identified a new keeper was needed and someone up front to stick the chances away. Not sure why they are after Hammill, got Brady for the rest of the season and doubt they will let Stewart go unless it's silly money. Unless it is just so they have 3 wingers and don't have to stick Koren out there if one of them are out.

Don't see you getting Hammill tbh, started getting a few games for Wolves. He cost them around £500,000, so you'd probably need to pay at least £1million, but as I say I don't reckon they'll sell.

I dunno about Hammill. He wasn't involved in their FA Cup game despite apparently including a fair few of their first teamers. Hammill hasn't really done anything to warrant doubling his price either, Hunt and Jarvis are the first choice wingers at Wolves. Also, that price would be no problem, the Allams said if they are in a position where they can really challenge for promotion then they will back the manager. 6th place, not too far off the top 2, think that is a valid reason to strengthen and more importantly not let anyone leave. You should all be hoping Hull go up instead of teams like West Ham, they are playing great football.

Oh if you wanna know more about those Man U youngsters we signed, Chester is pretty awesome. Great anticipation, tackling, reads the game really well. Not great in the air though because of his height, bit like Koscielny.
Evans is also pretty good in the middle, composed on the ball but doesn't have the greatest range of passing. Great engine though, and has scored a couple of pretty good and important goals (away at Coventry this season, away at Swansea last season)

Oh yeah, forgot about Dudgeon because i've not seen much of him. He's pretty much rotating with Dawson although since Barmby has come in Dawson has been clear first choice. From what i've heard, he is a good tackler and gets down the left fairly well but he can be a little bit clumsy and loses concentration. Pretty good for bringing on near the end and playing at left mid though... Double on the right winger, keep him quiet.

Apparently Keane could be a Villa player tonight and ready to go into training tomorrow morning.

McLeish has spoken with Dalglish and he said he is not interested in Bent at all.

Winning aerial duels doesn't always mean he's great in the air. He could be winning them marginally. Koscielny isn't amazing in the air, his strength comes from being able to read the game, intercepting the ball and just in general knowing where that ball is gonna go. I'm not knocking him, i've been singing his praises for ages even when people where knocking him and I was apparently going through a period where I hated Arsenal.

Yes. Considering we have considerable financial power, and he knows Nigel Adkins well from his Scunny Days.

Why would he want to go to a club fighting at the top of the Championship and most likely be back in the Premier League in the next couple of years?

Nobody said he's crap in the air. Lets be honest for an EPL defender his heading is average.
