No, he's a fantastic left-back. He was surrounded by terrible players at West Ham, that's why he looked so bad.

He has Champions League experience too. Don't forget that he was the one who scored the goal that knocked us out of the Champions League in 03/04. He knows how to score against us, hence he'll be able to help our defenders identify their weaknesses. Shrewd signing from Wenger.

Gibbs will pick up another injury in a few weeks so it would be pointless.

He needs to be sold and a solid, consitent LB needs to be brought.

It's a loan. He's been great in the bit-parts he's played this season. Should give Fred a run for his money as the best target man in the league.
